The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a slight freshness as well as a slight creaminess. It reveals notes of blackberry cream and cassis associated with slight touches of wild strawberry, blueberry, minty liquorice, flowers as well as a hint of rose and slight notes of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a nice acid frame, minerality, concentration, a very slight creaminess, tension as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, cassis and slight notes of redcurrants combined with hints of wild strawberry, a very discreet hint of vanilla as well as a subtle toasted hint, sweet spices, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length.
