Château du Gazin 2020 – Canon-Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity and it offers freshness, depth and a certain intensity. It reveals the notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy cassis and small currants associated with resh pepper, lily, pulpy/fresh small fruits as well as fine fresh tobacco and an imperceptible hint of toast (in the background). On the mouth it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, fine richness, excellence and a certain gourmandize. The wine express the notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly pulpy/fresh raspberry notes associated with small blue fruits, lilac, lily as well as fresh blond tobacco, fine hint of cardamom and a discreet hint of tonka beans. Good persistence. The tannins are precise and finely firm. Good persistence. A fine chew on the finish/persistence.
