Château du Cros 2018 – Loupiac

The nose is fresh, mineral, racy and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of lemon, candied quince and small notes of candied green lemon, fresh orange zests associated with fine touches of candied pineapple as well as very fine hints of white flowers and a fine hint of nuts. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine freshness, an acidulous frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied/cristallized lemon, candied/cristallized vine peach and small notes of apple associated with a touch of juicy mandarine, pineapple in syrup, very discreet hints of quenette as well as a subtle hint of flowers and an imperceptible hint of toasted/vanilla (in the background). Good length.
