The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity, power, concentration as well as a beautiful aromatic precision. It reveals notes of ripe/crushed cassis, griotte and small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with fine touches of blueberry, liquorice, very discreet hints of spices as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg, cardamom, clove and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, a small tension, concentration as well as a good aromatic precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/fleshy wild blackberry and small notes of ripe/juicy small red fruits associated with a hint of griotte as well as a subtle varietal hint, liquorice, toasted and dark chocolate on the finish/persistence. Tannins are well-built and precise.
