Château La Bridane 2016 – Saint-Julien

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, fresh/ripe blackberry and more slightly wild raspberry associated with fine touches of liquorice as well as discreet hints of toasted, chocolate and subtle hint of spices. The palate is fresh, mineral, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful material, richness ( but well-built/dosed) as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy cherry and more slightly blackberry associated with small touches of raspberry, a discreet hint of zan as well as fine hints of chocolate and toasted. Tannins are well-built. A very discreet chew on the finish.
