The wine has a golden color of medium intensity. The nose is subtle, complex and refined. It first expresses notes of beeswax, honey, wet leaves, dried flowers (linden, chamomile), white tea, then completed by notes of stone fruits (juicy yellow peach, roasted apricot), caramelized pineapple, as well as vanilla, nutmeg, toasted hazelnut and brioche. The palate is expressive, fragrant and complex. On the attack it expresses spicy, floral and herbaceous notes (vanilla, clove, nutmeg, infused tea leaf, acacia, dried linden flowers), associated with flavors of chestnut honey with a fine bitterness, bee’s wax, toasted hazelnut and a rich, but fresh fruity substance. We find in particular notes of yellow peach in syrup, roasted pineapple, roasted apricot, candied orange peel and a subtle bitterness of grapefruit. The texture is round and oily, balanced by a slight bitterness and a nice acidity. The finish is long and lemony. A harmonious and pleasant wine.
