The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, violet, small wild fruits associated with touches of lily, lilac as well as hints of wild strawberry and a discreet hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension as well as suavity, finesse and a very fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy cherry, pulpy cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of small berries, crushed strawberry, liquorice as well as fine hints of blueberry, chocolate, a subtle hint of sugared mild tobacco and cocoa. Good length and persistence.
