Château Destieux 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful juicy/pulpy/elegant fruit and offers a fine grain, harmony and a fine tension. It reveals notes of juicy cassis, juicy blueberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with fine touches of sweet spices, black tea and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, an aerial side, a beautiful juicy/bright fruit as well as a fine tension and a certain delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry, juicy blueberry, small notes of cassis associated with small touches of cornflower, crushed/finely acidulous raspberry as well as hints of lilac, zan/liquorice as well as very discreet hints of chocolate and bourbon vanilla. Tannins are elegant, fine and delicate. A very discreet hint of cocoa/expresso on the finish.
