Nice nose is racy, precise and offers good definition as well as a fine and intense grain. There is a little racy power with notes of lily, peonies, luscious blackberries and more slightly luscious cherries associated with touches of licorice, cherry blossoms and hints of iodized, even gritty minerality. The palate is mineral and offers juiciness, balance, smoothness, a little roundness as well as accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, small fresh red fruits and more lightly violets, peonies or even varietals associated with touches of fresh liquorice as well as hints of fresh nutmeg and iodine. There is good work on the good bitters.
