Château des Tours 2016 – Brouilly

The nose is fruity and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, plum and wild berries associated with a touch of raspberry, primrose as well as a discreet hint of spices and very discreet hints of tea / cassis bud. The palate is fruity, well balanced, mineral and offers a slight acid frame, volume, a slight gourmandise, a slight unctuosity, a small suavity as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and blueberry associated with touches of fleshy wild strawberry and subtle touches of spices, cardamom, tea as well as discreet touches of toasted / caramelized oak (in the background). Good length.
