Château des Laurets 2020 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

Château des Laurets 2020 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose offers a nice power in finesse, elegance and a certain intensity and harmony. There are notes of blackcurrant, blueberry and, more slightly, crunchy red berries combined with hints of lilac, star anise, as well as hints of balsamic and a fine touch of pepper. The palate is mineral, fruity and offers some fatness, accuracy, balance, an airy character and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and slightly creamy dark berry notes with hints of blueberry, violet, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom and toasted almond. The tannins are supple and well-managed. Good length.
