It reveals notes of fleshy cassis and small notes of blackberry, small red berries associated with touches of violet, graphite as well as with slight hints of sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers gourmandise, juiciness, fleshiness, a small tension, suavity as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy strawberry and small notes of crushed red berries associated with fine touches of violet, cassis bud, very fine touches of chocolate (in the background) as well as discreet toasted hints, graphite and an imperceptible touch of vanilla. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length.
