The nose is fresh, flowery, racy and reveals good definition and a fine infusion (in the background). There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy/ripe Bigarreau cherry and more lightly pulpy/ripe blackcurrant combined with hints of violet, lily and discreet hints of liquorice, mocha and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced, discreetly tight and offers minerality, juiciness, freshness, good definition and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly bergamot notes combined with hints of pulpy blue berries, fine mocha, smoke, almost herbal notes as well as discreet sweet blond tobacco and a subtle vanilla dot (in the background). Good work on the bitter taste. Good length.
