The nose is floral and offers a certain intensity. The wine benefits from being decanted. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, wild cassis and iris associated with touches of small red fruits, hints of black pepper, licorice as well as a subtle hint of clove and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a nice tangy frame, a certain gourmandize as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of concentrated cassis, small bright black currants and wild strawberry associated with touch of pistil, violet, hints of black pepper as well as a subtle hint of cocoa / chocolate, toasted almond and a very discreet hint of mocha. Presence of a very delicate and nice bitterness on the finish / persistence.
