Château de Sales 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant and offers power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower, small notes of small blue berries associated with touches of iris, wild strawberry as well as a hint of black plum, black pepper and fine hints of vanilla and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral and offers a good structure, power as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy black plum, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small blue fruits as well as fresh iris, strawberry and caramelization. Good length. Tannins are well-built and elegant.
