The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration, elegance as well as a fine captivating side. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower, lily and small notes of crushed blackberries associated with small touches of ripe / crushed cherry, ripe wild raspberry as well as touches of Sichuan pepper, violet, mocha, colas and very discreet toasted hints in the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, structured, a bit restrained (it needs time!) and offers a good / beautiful definition, finesse, tension, a fine fleshiness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy small wild blue fruits, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry associated with small touches of tonka bean, small toasted touches as well as discreet hints of coffee, Sichuan pepper, lily, very discreet spicy hints and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length. The finish is slightly powdered. Power on the finish / persistence. There are a very discreet hint of hazelnut, coffee and a very discreet spicy / toasted hints on the persistence.
