The nose is fresh, floral and reveals delicacy. There are notes of fresh red currant, fresh strawberry/pulp and more lightly cherry combined with hints of racy minerality, cherry blossom and hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a tangy structure, good definition, suavity, some gourmandize and roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, cherry and, more slightly, fresh lily, combined with touches of rose, as well as fine points of fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of varietal aromas and racy minerality. The tannins are discreetly tight and pronounced.
