Château de Rochemorin 2018 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity and offers a small crystalline side. It reveals notes of fresh lemon, fresh peach, small notes of lemon flowers associated with touches of small fleshy fruits, pink lychee and an imperceptible hint of mandarine. The palate is fruity and offers fullness, fatness, dynamism as well as a gravy minerality and a fine acidulous/zesty frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy lemon, juicy/fleshy lychee, small notes of juicy apple associated with touches of quenette as well as hints of mandarine and a subtle hint of zests. Good length. A persistence on notes of zests/mesocarp and minerality/flint. Appetence, gourmandize as well as an imperceptible hint of toasted and a good bitterness on the aftertaste.
