Château de Raousset – Grille-Midi 2015 – Fleurie

The nose is powerful, fine, straight, aromatic and relatively elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of plum, wild small black berries as well as hints of chocolate, spices, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of roasting (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame (in the background), a slight minerality, a slight suavity, straightness, a slight juiciness as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cherry and slight notes of plum associated with hints of blueberry as well as a discreet toasted hint, flowers and a very discreet/imperceptible hint of tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of roasting/cacao on the persistence.
