Château de Raousset 2015 – Fleurie

Château de Raousset 2015 – Fleurie

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a slight intensity, a slight elegance as well as an incisive side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, ripe plum and slight notes of ripe cassis associated with a subtle hint of red fruits as well as slight woody notes, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers a slight acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, straightness, elegance, finesse as well as a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy boysenberry, blueberry and plum associated with a slight touch of ripe/crushed strawberry as well as slight touches of chocolate, oak and vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. There is a very slight hint of dark chocolate and coffee on the finish/persistence. A beautiful wine!
