Château de Pressac 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, spicy, powerful and racy. It reveals notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant and small notes of pepper associated with touches of violet, small wild blue fruits as well as hints of camphor, a discreet hint of torrefaction as well as a discreet point of sense of the place (local biotop). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, roundness, fullness, a nice volume, a nice freshness, smoothness, suppleness as well as an airy side in its richness and power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of pulpy/tangy blueberry, hints of sense of place, vanilla, tonka bean as well as with a hint of graphite and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are supple. Presence of a fine floral hint on the persistence.
