Château de Portets Blanc 2020 – Graves

The nose is fruity and offers a certain gourmandise. There are notes of sweet white grapefruit, lemon and, to a lesser extent, fresh lychee, combined with fine touches of fresh/juicy apple and fine, almost iodine-like hints (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-managed and offers juiciness, acidity, a certain gourmandise, good definition, fat and sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy lychee, quenette and more slightly vine peach notes combined with juicy/sweet grapefruit as well as fine hints of passion fruit, a subtle hint of white flowers and an imperceptible hint of saltiness. Good length.
