The palate is fruity, beautifully well-balanced, slightly tight, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful structure, power, minerality, a small aerial side as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy plum, fleshy black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, small wild berries, fine touches of liquorice, tobacco, cocoa as well as a very discreet hint of mild tobacco and graphite. Tannins are elegant. Good length. Gourmandize on the finish. There is a hint of toasted almond on the finish/persistence.
