Château de Meursault, Beaufougets, Beaune 2021

Château de Meursault, Beaufougets, Beaune 2021

The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose is delicate, a little reserved. It offers notes of green apple, white peach, fresh apricot, lemon, fresh pineapple, as well as spicy (white pepper, vanilla, a very fine touch of Timut pepper), herbaceous (mint crushed pepper, cut grass), floral (acacia, field flowers) and milky (lemon cream, yogurt) notes. On the palate, the wine is chiseled, fresh and offers a certain complexity. It expresses the flavors of fresh lemon, lime, candied lime zest, green apple, fresh quince, fresh pineapple, white peach as well as fine notes of vanilla, nutmeg, toasted bread, fresh wildflowers, honey and beeswax in the background. The acidity is lively and salivating and brings freshness to the wine. The wine has a persistent and fragrant finish, with spicy and woody notes, but integrated thanks to its fruity substance and its structure.
