The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power, a beautiful definition, a fine intensity as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of black cherry associated with touches of black pepper as well as fine hints of toasted, nutmeg/cardamom, spices and a very discreet hint of ris (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, beautifully defined, racy and offers a fine acidulous frame, tension, juiciness, a fleshy/juicy fruit as well as a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, black cherry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of blackberry, cornflower, toasted/chocolate as well as a discreet hint of iris, zan and cardamom. Tannins are elegant, structuring and well-built. Beautiful persistence.
