The nose is aromatic, concentrated, slightly tight and offers power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild berries and more slightly red fruits associated with touches of spices, gray pepper as well as subtle hint of cocoa. The palate is a bit tight, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, juiciness as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly juicy redcurrant associated with fine touches of cherry, toasted oak, mocha as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization on the finish.
