Château de Malleret 2018 – Haut Médoc

Château de Malleret 2018 – Haut Médoc

The nose is fruity, fresh and staight. It reveals notes of fresh cassis, fresh blackberry and crunchy small red fruits associated with small touches of flowers/lily as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension, dynamism as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and lily/iris associated with small notes of red fruits, a small hint of varietal bitterness as well as subtle touches of liquorice stick and mild tobacco. There is a hint of coffee and dark chocolate on the persistence. Good length.
