The nose is fruity and reveals a fine gourmet quality. There are notes of pulpy bigarreau cherry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and more lightly violet combined with delicate touches of pulpy/crunchy blackcurrant as well as a subtle hint of zan and a very discreet touch of graphite/sweet spice. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, fine tension, juiciness, some pulpiness of the fruit, fluidity as well as an acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidic cherry, raspberry and, more slightly, lily, combined with touches of racy/iodic minerality, as well as hints of fresh/juicy berries, a subtle hint of bergamot, as well as discreet hints of zan and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The tannins are fine and mellow.
