Château de l’Escarelle Les deux anges Coteaux Varois en Provence 2019

Château de l’Escarelle Les deux anges Coteaux Varois en Provence 2019

The color is pale cherry, the wine is limpid and shiny. The first nose is gourmand on red fruits such as cherries and strawberries. There is also a smoky side that stands out, toasted. With aeration, fruits in alcohol appear as well as notes of undergrowth and leather. The attack is flexible. The palate is pleasant with tannins which appear little by little. There are woody notes, toasted with black like blackberry. There are sweet spices, leather and notes of undergrowth. The tannins disappear in the mid-palate, letting the aromas express themselves in the palate. On the finish, there are black pepper and liquorice stick bringing bitterness. It’s minty and pretty. Great potential.
