The nose is aromatic, relatively elegant and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of torrefied wood, toasted bread and chocolate associated with slight notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis as well as ripe wild strawberry. The palate is frutiy, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity/fat, a slight unctuosity, a slight gourmandise as well as a slight acid/mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of strawberry, fresh raspberry and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of chocolate, sweet spices (vanilla, cardamom…) and a slight/discreet hint of coffee on the persistence. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
