Château de Laussac 2019 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is powerful, racy and offers a fine grain, intensity as well as deepness. It reveals notes of cassis, small wild blue berries and small notes of cornflower, violet associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, purple plum as well as hints of morello cherry, tea, cardamom and a grilled hint. The mouth is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a beautiful bright fruit, suavity, freshness, a fine acidulous frame as well as a slightly tight power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black fruit, juicy / crunchy black plum and small notes of cassis associated with touches of small blue fruits, ripe / juicy raspberry as well as hints of tea, violet and cardamom. Tannins are fine, powerful and structuring.
