The nose is fruity and concentrated. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, cherry and strawberry. The palate is concentrated, dense, smooth, “gourmand” and offers a small smoothness and freshness. In mouth this Fronsac expresses notes of cassis, cherry, blackberry and strawberry associated with a few notes of spices (especially vanilla) in the background and dark chocolate on the finish. The tannins are fine and slightly supple. The finish is long.
