Château de La Chaize – Rien de Trop 2017 – Brouilly 

The nose is fruity, elegant as well as beautifully defined and delicate. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of crushed blueberry, crunchy wild strawberry associated with discreet hints of licorice stick, colas, cinnamon and a very discreet toasted hint / sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, precise, elegant and offers a beautiful delicacy, suavity, finesse, dynamism, a fine tension, a beautiful definition, a beautiful fat, a beautiful harmony as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blueberry and small notes of violet combined with small touches of red berries, rose, racy minerality as well as very discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are elegant and well-built. Beautiful wine!
