The nose is fruity, well-structured and racy. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed raspberry and crushed blackberry combined with small notes of terroir/gravels as well as hints of spices and a touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, gourmande and offers a good definition, silkiness as well as a beautiful juicy / acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, raspberry and juicy / fresh blackberry associated with small touches of crushed cassis as well as hints of gravels, spices, toasted hints and chocolate / vanilla. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly firm. Good length. There is a hint of liquorice on the persistence. A beautiful, juicy and gourmand wine!
