Château de Ferrand 2020 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose, it is fruity, fresh and offers elegance, a nice definition as well as a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of bright cassis, wild strawberry, small notes of  pulpy raspberry associated with touches of black plum, graphite/wet stone as well as hint of toast, sichuan pepper, subtle hints of spices and tabaco. On the palate, it is fruity, balanced nicely racy and offers a nice finesse of the texture, delicacy, a nice definition as well as a fine acidulous frame, a very fine tension. The wine expresses notes of juicy/bright blackcurrant, small black berries, small notes of juicy/fresh blueberry associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, cherry blossom, cornflower, racy minerality (limestone), toast, tonka bean as well as fine hints of spices and nice bitterness. The tannins are precise and very fine. Good length.
