Château de Ferrand  2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Château de Ferrand  2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fresh and fruity. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry and slight notes of cassis jam associated with a hint of blackberry as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices and a subtle hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a nice minerality, a fresh frame (good freshness), deepness, a nice definition as well as a slightly silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy raspberry and slight hints of cassis associated with slight notes of cacao/tonka bean as well as a discreet caramelization/toasted hint. Good length.
