Château de Corcelles 2016 – Brouilly

Château de Corcelles 2016 – Brouilly

The nose reveals notes of blueberry, blackberry and wild berries associated with a hint of racy minerality (grès) as well as a very discreet hint of flowers / bosquet, liquorice and an imperceptible touch of spices / Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well balanced, a bit aerial and offers a slight juiciness, a beautiful suavity, a beautiful definition, straightness, precision as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, wild strawberry, fleshy redcurrant / blueberry associated with touches of Quetsch plum as well as discreet hints of liquorice, flowers, spices / cardamom and a very discreet hint of chocolate / tobacco on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
