Château de Chantegrive 2020 – Graves

The nose offers a small power, fine concentration, a fine freshness as well as a finely tight grain. It reveals notes of strawberry, small wild berries, small notes of cassis, violet associated with touches of lily, Cuben pepper as well as fine hints of sweet spices, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of severs (in the background). On the mouth it is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition, a certain juiciness, tension as well as a discreetly tight grain, energy and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy/acidulous raspberry, small notes of violet associated with small touches of small juicy/pulpy blue fruits, liquorish, fleshy strawberry. Good length. A very discreet hint of good bitterness in the finish/persistence.
