Château de Chamirey 2014 – Mercurey

Château de Chamirey 2014 – Mercurey

The nose is aromatic, powerful and relatively intense. It reveals notes of raspberry, wild strawberry and slight notes of crushed blackberry associated with a hint of flowers, spices, caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, elegant, quite aerial, fine, round, suave and offers a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry and slight notes of strawberry associated with discreet hints of cassis, plum as well as slight notes of caramelized oak and spices. Tannins are elegant, supple and nicely built. Good length. There is gourmandize and suavity on the finish.
