The nose offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of clove associated with touches of blueberry, lily as well as fine hints of cherry blossoms, star anise and a hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, slightly tight, very finely restrained and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, tension as well as a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, fleshy / crushed Boysen blackberry and small notes of red berries associated with touches of juicy blueberry, violet, lily, slight hints of cloves, zan, blond tobacco as well as a hint of cardamom and almond.
