The nose is spicy, racy, discreetly tight and shows some freshness. There are notes of fresh wild blackcurrant, nutmeg and, more slightly, wild red berries combined with hints of lily, pepper and discreet spice. The palate is fruity, racy and reveals freshness, a nice acidic structure and good definition. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/crisp cherry, tart red berry and slightly blackberry notes with hints of violets, camphor, racy minerality and fine nuances of spices. Good length. The tannins are fine and mellow.
