Château de Carles 2018 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers concentration as well as a ‘’perfume’’ side. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild red berries associated with fine varietal hints, discreet hints of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness/a juicy frame, a fine concentration/density as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, strawberry and small notes of fleshy cassis associated with touches of vanilla, toasted, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of cardamom, flowers and varietal/vegetal.
