The nose is aromatic, elegant and quite charming. It reveals slight notes of boysenberry, violet and spices (Sichuan pepper, hint of curcuma/oriental spices) associated with touches of fresh strawberry, cassis as well as a discreet hint of caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandise, finesse, a beautiful freshness, a good definition, suavity, a beautiful tension, a slight juiciness as well as a slight fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of red juicy berries/red currant associated with hints of raspberry, woody hints as well as very slight notes of chocolate and hints of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length. There is a hint of cacao on the persistence.
