Château de Briat – Hors d’Âge – Bas-Armagnac

(75% Bacco, 15% Folle Blanche and 10% Colombard) The nose is fine, dynamic and quite powerful. It reveals notes of leather, dried fruit, rancio and woody notes associated with a few notes of citrus and slight notes of tobacco, roasting, clove and spices. The palate is fresh, mineral and fruity. In the mouth it expresses notes of citrus (lemon, clementine) and peach associated with hints of rancio, caramel, toasted oak and a touch of chocolate and vanilla. Good length and persistence.
