Château de Birazel – Fruit de Légendes 2020, Auguste, Bordeaux 

On the nose, fruity, creamy, fresh and offers some small intensity. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly vanilla combined with hints of pulpy berries as well as fine toasted and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, fruity with minerality, fine tension, breadth/fullness and fine texture and freshness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy raspberry and more lightly pulpy/creamy black berry combined with hints of vanilla, fresh hazelnut as well as fine cardamom, a very discreet touch of sweet spice and graphite. Good length.
