The nose is aromatic, quite powerful, elegant and offers a slight freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild fruits and small notes of spices associated with a hint of Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of blackberry jam and flowers. The palate is fruity, fat, well-balanced, supple and offers a slight juiciness, a slight freshness, a slight acid/fresh frame, a small suavity, harmony, a slight gourmandize as well as a slight smooth. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of plum jam and red berries associated with a discreet hint of black olive, oak, slight touches of racy/slightly saline minerality as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate, spices and an imperceptible hint of caramelized oak. Good length.
