Château de Bel-Air 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château de Bel-Air 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

On the nose it is finely tight and it offers a little concentration, a little power and a little density. It reveals the notes of wild cassis/blackberry, ripe small black fruits and bright strawberry associated with hints of violet, black tea, crushed redcurrants as well as fine points of camphor, saffron and a very discreet touch of black pepper. On the mouth it is fruity, finely tight and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, some tension, precision, juiciness and a stretched side. The wine express the notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and more lightly fleshy cherry associated with hints of strawberry, violet, nutmeg as well as hints of tonka bean, cardamom, sweet tobacco and fine black tea. The tannins are supple. Good persistence. A little chew on the finish/persistence. The gourmandize, the sapidity and fine chocolate and vanilla on the finish.
