Château Daugay 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Château Daugay 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, precise, elegant and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, black berries and zan associated with touches of wild berries, blue fruits, gray pepper as well as subtle touches of conflower/iris and spices. The palate is fruity, welll-balanced, mineral, suave and offers a good definition, tension, a beautiful freshness as well as a beautiful fat and unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry, cassis and more slightly ripe/juicy red berries associated with fine hints of liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background).
