The nose is elegant, racy and offers a slight power, suavity / gourmandise. It reveals notes of boysenberry, dried cassis, and small notes of dried raspberry associated with touches of licorice, undergrowth as well as subtle hints of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small acidulous frame as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, raspberry and undergrowth associated with a small hint of flowers as well as subtle hints of spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of vanilla on the persistence. Good persistence.
