Château Dassault 2020 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose is fruity and offers elegance, a nice fleshy/delicate fruit as well as a certain deepness, a fin grain and intensity (in finesse). It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry, small notes of  blueberry associated with touches of violet, cherry tree flower, lily as well as fine hints of fresh nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a juicy/ mineral frame, a good definition, a gourmandize, a nice finesse of the grain, suavity as well as finesse, a fine creaminess, a nice freshness, complexity, and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, boysen berry, notes of  blueberry associated with touches of crunchy violet prune, small red berries, iris as well as hints of nutmeg blond tabaco paper, cardamom and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). An imperceptible hint of hazelnut of the persistence. The tannins are precis and well built. good length.
